Make yourself at home
Inspired by its neighbourhood and taking its cues from the surroundings, the design creates an interesting, textural layering of traditional timber and brick at street level.
Named for the Greek goddess of strength and courage, Alke is a vision of elevated living within Oakleigh’s epicurean core. The building was designed by SJB, one of Melbourne’s most prestigious architecture firms, and features a bold façade that exudes energy, stability and artistic intent. Fronting Atherton Road, the ground floor tenancy is primely positioned to house a quality café or artisan bakery, ensuring Alke’s exterior flows seamlessly into the existing neighbourhood.
